Ana Bribiesca is a School Resource Officer (SRO) Sergeant for the Elko County Sheriff’s Office in Elko, Nevada. She has worked in law enforcement for 19 years, 11 of which have been in her current assignment as an Elko County School District SRO.

Sergeant Bribiesca earned her Master’s and Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Nevada, Reno. In 2021, She created a team that spearheaded The Wellness Project- a peer behavior support group for staff in the school district. Currently, she sits on the District Suicide Prevention Policy Committee.  The committee is a part of the implementation team for HOPE Squad, a peer-to-peer suicide prevention program at the district middle and high schools.
