As Chief Information Officer, Robert Spurlock oversees the information technology organization within Avel eCare where he leans on 20 years of healthcare IT experience to provide strategic leadership and a pragmatic vision.  Robert has a track record of creating tech-friendly cultures that are leveraged to drive the success of the toughest challenges including system modernizations, digital transformations, innovation, creating valuable information from data, and ensuring a secure, stable, and predictable infrastructure.

Robert has worked in leadership roles across midcap and Fortune 500 organizations including Vice President of Information Technology for Change Healthcare and CIO of Zelis Healthcare.  He has a B.S. in Computer Science and an MBA from the University of New Mexico.
