Dr. Sara Beth Berner-Orcutt serves as the Psychiatry Clinical Lead for Avel’s Behavioral Health service line. As Avel’s Psychiatry Clinical Lead, Dr. Berner-Orcutt provides the psychiatric clinical voice and advocates for the Behavioral Health Team. She enjoys hearing each patient’s unique story and firmly believes in meeting the individual where they are at and bolstering their resilience on their path to healing. Dr Berner-Orcutt is a board-certified psychiatrist.

She completed her medical education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and her residency at Maine Medical Center. She served in the United States Navy as a Staff Psychiatrist and is certified in Perinatal Psychiatry. She started with Avel in 2023, she resides in Maine.
